In today’s time, networking jobs are in high-demand and are also considered high-paying jobs within IT in India. There are many big giants in the country, who specifically work on networking like as IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Symantec, Dell etc. Companies are investing in advanced and new technology, faster mobile networks, faster apps almost on a daily basis, increasing the requirement for skilled network engineers. Hence, there is always the need for highly trained and experienced networking professionals.

Eligibility

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or computer engineering
 MTech candidates with specialization in Computer Networking have added advantages. MTech job seekers have great scope of getting networking jobs with networking giants like Orange, Cisco, Juniper etc. Here, networking jobs as researchers are available.
 Or you can do certification courses like as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE (Cisco track) or JNCIP, JNCIA, JNCIE (Juniper track), checkpoint, Palo alto, etc. Certifications add value to your CV. Networking certifications provide good number of networking job opportunities. You get learn to design, develop, install, configure as well as troubleshoot, irrespective of the size of the network. This is one of the best ways to pursue a career in networking if you are not an engineer.

Responsibilities of networking jobs
The networking field is a large one. It has a very wide scope. Networking jobs can be divided into 2 main groups: Support and Development.
Development: Development of networking involves writing code to implement the networking concepts and even testing the implementation. You need to have a thorough understanding of all networking concepts. This profile requires experience because this is considered to be quite tough job role, and only skilled and experienced professionals can handle the role. Networking jobs in development are very limited for Freshers.
Support: For a networking career, support is the job role that most candidates apply for. Networking support jobs are of two types:
TAC/product support or Technical assistance center:
Here, the major companies who manufacture the network devices hire you to provide support to customers when they buy and face problems with these devices. So, your job profile is to support the customers from the manufacturer’s side. Responsibilities involve right from configuration to troubleshooting of the network device.
NOC/SOC or network operations center/ security operations center:
Here, the networking jobs involve the managing of the network device/s or networking of one specific customer. Here, you might need to handle multiple devices. You should have knowledge of multiple devices from multiple vendors for firewalls, routers, proxies, switches and many more. 
In addition to the above, there is also the non-technical profile in networking jobs, and that is the profile of a networking admin. The job role involves the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure that connect devices, which do not require much to handle complex systems.
